I checked into L&D to be induced to deliver my stillborn and Sandra Moore was the nurse I ended up with during my delivery. I feel as if she went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and stuck with my original plan of natural delivery regardless of my situation. During the delivery she gave me encouraging words and was able to explain to me what was happening as I went through the process. She also made sure I had plenty of keepsakes to take home of my son and helped to understand some of the possible reasons for my son's abnormalities. She gave me all the time I needed to spend with him and gave me ideas and suggestions to memorialize my son. She also made a photo album for me and took plenty of pictures of my son, his dad and me during our bonding time with him. Sandra took the time to come visit me when I was admitted to the hospital a few days after delivery. Without her kindness and going above and beyond I don't know how I would've made it through! She was truly a blessing during a very difficult time for me and was a huge help and a big part of my support system. A lot of the stuff she did probably wasn't part of her job description but she definitely made my stay better and helped me through such a difficult time!
