There were several situations of Lisa's exemplary service that demonstrated her compassionate care that truly touched my heart. It is easy to see that she is not a "paycheck collector" and truly a person that loves her job. Lisa anticipated our needs and was able to respectively communicate that to us, on numerous occasions as I was making the requests to her. She was easy to talk to and did a wonderful job of facilitating communication with the doctors, myself, and anyone else directly or indirectly involved in R's care. She remained professional yet compassionate and maintained composure during time periods that were especially sensitive and emotional for me and my daughter. Lisa was ever present with genuine concern and attentive to R's health and well-being. She not only helped me communicate more effectively and efficiently with R's team of caregivers, but Lisa also shared warmth, love, knowledge, and laughs with my daughter and Imaking our most lengthy stay by far the most pleasurable one. This was our third inpatient visit within a period of six months and I can honestly say that I am leaving with the most confident peace of mind that I have had in an extremely long time.
Furthermore, Lisa was easy to talk to and did not mind sharing information with me whenever I inquired about her work history, education, and professional experience, as I am interested in furthering my education to pursue a career in nursing. Lisa displays tender nurturing, heartwarming compassion, reassuring comfort, skillful mastery of nursing skills, knowledge, application, and exemplifies the art of nursing to me and R.
