Dee Troilo had a very challenging patient. She was very patient and calm with his severe incontinence. The patient had several pairs of personal undergarments that were soiled. She took it upon herself to take the clothing to another unit and wash it and dry it so that the patient had clean undergarments. Her care and compassion with this patient were outstanding!

The patient that Dee went out of her way for was unable to remember the "good deed" that she did. A patient had soiled multiple pairs of underwear because he was unsteady and missed the urinal. That morning Dee offered him pajama bottoms which he refused, stating he wanted to stay in his wet boxers. A short while later, she went back to him and offered him pajama pants again and to wash all his soiled underwear. He accepted the pajama pants and his soiled boxers were taken to another unit by Dee to wash and dry them. She later went back to procure the boxers and give them to the patient. He was less confused at the end of the day and thanked her for her kindness.
