I would like to nominate her for the DAISY award. She has recently taken over a new position. When looking at her and her attitude you could just say she does her job very well and she does, but her level of enthusiasm and kindness far surpass the average nurse. She is very productive – she is constantly trying to improve on every aspect of the nurse’s education as well as thinking up ways to make our jobs easier. She has done more in the short time that she has been in the role than most have done in months. She is a positive person. I have observed her including people in conversations that are shy, talking/welcoming nursing students who seem a little lost or stand “offish”. She takes time to talk with families – laughing/joking and always throwing in some education for good measure. She really makes a difference in the work environment here at Camden. She is positive, caring, a pleasure to be around. She takes her job seriously she follows through with ideas and plans. She really listens to comments related to improving the workplace and enhancing the educational opportunities. She is a lovely person, highly productive, and enthusiastic about her job. I am very thankful to have her as a coworker. I am very confident in her ability to answer questions and help find resources to increase my education and satisfaction in my career as a nurse here at Camden Clark.
