Emily was my day shift nurse. She knew I was also an RN, however, my husband is not at all in the medical field. She took an enormous amount of time standing at my bedside explaining and teaching every step of my physical and personal healthcare process. She was very methodical and spoke in terms that my often easily frustrated husband understood. Emily explained and talked about my baby and the changes taking place. She also explained everything she did and why she needed to. It was quite reassuring for me to focus on the changes happening while Emily cared for me and communicated my concerns to the doctor. Emily was honest and gentle and was always ready to hear my concerns or opinions. She kept the room prepared for each step of my birthing process. Emily's experience and expertise in her field and the facility deserve recognition. This is my 4th pregnancy and birthing experience and although it was the most painful, it was and is my best experience in a hospital, hands down. The best care I have ever been provided.
