When life’s pressures
seem too much to
handle, we look to others
for encouragement and
comfort. Such was the
case with one of our
patients who underwent
two frightening surgeries.
Her nurse, Amanda Hunter, came to the
patient’s side, held her hand and prayed,
and calmed her nerves. After surgery, she
was there, offering words of comfort.
Amanda was nominated by this patient
to be a DAISY winner for her positive
attitude and her outstanding patient care.
