I was brought to the ER after falling and didn't have any feeling in my legs. I was evaluated and put in the NSICU for all types of tests. I was scared out of my mind mainly because I am a single parent and both my parents are deceased which made me feel really anxious. With Latasha as my nurse that made all the difference in the world while in the NSICU. She was extremely knowledgeable and professional not to mention a very pleasing disposition. She made me feel at ease with her ready smile and willingness to do whatever she could to make my stay as comfortable as possible. There was nothing too small or big that I could ask of her that she did without hesitation and an upbeat attitude. I was truly impressed with how she gave me a bed bath without any change in facial expression even when I could smell myself. Latasha was compassionate at all times and exemplified the kind of nurse that every patient would need to make their hospital experience less traumatic. Even my family members that visited were impressed by her jovial disposition and her knowledge of my particular situation. She was willing to answer any question that I had and on several occasions was very encouraging that all would be well as she thought I was in the best hospital with the best physicians. I will forever be thankful that she was my nurse when I look back on this time in my life. She is EXTRAORDINARY to say the least!
