My grandmother fell ill and was admitted to the MICU, but her prognosis quickly became worse. On Tuesday, she was moved to the Palliative Care Unit. The first night gram was there, I couldn't sleep at all. Alice was phenomenal! She answered every question I had and checked in frequently even though it was overnight. She told me if I got too lonely being the only one up or needed a break to come to the nurse's station. She also answered every nurse call to the room timely. I could go on, but she was amazing, supportive, helpful, and informative. I was very grateful to have a nurse like Alice. I will always remember her kindness, comfort and bedside manner. Thank you, Alice!

Nurse Alice was very kind to my brother. She cared for him in his last moments with much respect and love. She is a great asset to Mercy Hospital.
