Taylor is a wonderful caring perfect nurse. She also made being in the hospital way more pleasant than it would have been. She made me smile every time she walked into my room. She is a wonderful human being and the best nurse I have ever had, and I am a frequent flyer to this hospital. I love her, she is an angel. I pray that she has as happy a life as she gives others. I was a patient on 4 North Pav recently for chest pain and subsequent Heart Cath (2nd time in 6 weeks). I wanted to recognize the staff for being very professional, compassionate, and willing to provide the best patient experience possible. In particular, I would like to acknowledge Taylor for her exceptional care. Not only did she go above and beyond, but she also exemplified the true compassion of nursing and the core values of UPMC. Her dedication to the patient experience was second to none. Not only did she smile, wash her hands, and explain everything, she made sure every time she was there, that she made me feel at ease and that everything was going to be ok. How lucky are we to have such wonderful young professionals here in this hospital representing what great should look like. I know she does this consistently for everyone because several times her name came up in other departments. For example, when I went for my cath, the Cath lab team spoke highly of Taylor that she is very thorough and always has her patients ready for testing. I am a long-time employee and Taylor did not know this until her last day with me, she seemed surprised that I didn't tell her. This further proved to me that this is her consistent behavior. When we strive for always doing what is right, we can all learn from the wonderful care and attitude with which Taylor does her job. Great job Taylor, you exemplify the way we should all treat our patient and each other. I am deeply appreciative for the kindness and compassion you gave me and my family
