I spoke with the wife of a patient who recently passed away. She made a point of telling me how Randy's treatment, care, and compassion to her husband eased her pain. She said that he spent time with them and supported them. At the time of his death, Randy stayed with him until she got there. The fact that Randy was able to give him comfort and support at his time of death allowed her to deal with the loss of her loved one. Thank you, Randy, for what you do for our patients.

Randy is a fantastic nurse. Randy goes far above and beyond for his patients, their family members and for his co-workers as well. Randy is thorough in making sure his patients understand their treatment, medications, and plan of care. Randy is an asset to this unit and has been integral in implementing positive change and starting our Unit Nursing Practice Council. Randy has proposed many changes to help the unit and our patients. Randy is a very strong advocate for safety, teamwork, and communication. Randy is a strong team leader and a great co-worker. Morale has improved on this unit since Randy started and suggested the start of "Sunday Funday" where everyone brings in food or snacks. Randy really is an asset to LVH-Pocono and a great example of an excellent nurse.

I was in terrible pain and Randy went out of his way to make me comfortable and took the time to talk with me. Randy is an asset to this hospital and a very nice person.
