Cassandra has recently been in the charge role on a fairly consistent basis. Although we have been very busy, Cassandra is able to keep things running smoothly. She knows her resources and advocates for what we need. She is a great communicator and isn't afraid to keep us informed (even when she knows it's not something we want to hear). I appreciate that today she reached out to another nursing department for help and they were able to come to give us a hand. She is not above asking for help and doesn't pretend to have all of the answers. She always makes sure that she does everything to make sure that the patients in the ED are getting the best care.
