Emmanuel is exemplary in every capacity of his position as an RN here at UWMC. As both a compassionate caregiver and a skilled oncology nurse, he is consistently demonstrating his ability to support both his patients and colleagues. His patients are always commenting on how attentive and thorough he is when he is at the bedside, as well as his ability to cluster care and meet needs in advance to promote rest during the busy nights.
Not only does he demonstrate stellar clinical judgment and time management, but he is always considering the demands of the next shift and doing whatever possible to ensure smooth transitions in care during each patient stay. Emmanuel is an excellent charge nurse, educator, and leader. He has a keen understanding of each patient's acuity to anticipate the needs of our patients and his fellow nurses.
Emmanuel is an incredible nurse. He cares about his patients and always goes above and beyond. When he has a free moment, he does anything he can to help fellow staff with tasks, always coming to work always with a positive attitude and a smile. He is a wonderful teacher and a great resource for questions. His patients love working with him and consistently ask for him as their nurse. He takes great care of his patients and is a wonderful part of 7SE, always willing to help when needed.
Emmanuel is a great resource for new grads or other nurses and always has patience with his staff and patients. He is constantly helping others; answering call lights, helping to administer meds, and does just about anything if he can to help. He is a favorite on 7SE and always has the best attitude.
