Ginny Vert has been working at Huntington Hospital for over 35 years. Ginny has consistently demonstrated excellence through her clinical expertise, extraordinary nursing care and support for her peers and patients.
Ginny’s extensive experience at the Huntington Hospital enables her to carry out her daily leadership role with a great understanding and great sensitivity for all the work she does.
One of the characteristics I admire and appreciate most about Ginny is her friendly ability to impart her knowledge and skilled support at work. Ginny has a magnificent way of making every nurse feel needed, important and essential in the Recovery Room. Ginny’s positive attitude towards her peers brings about a sense of cohesiveness and harmonious air to out stressful work environment. In addition Ginny, treats everyone with respect and always offers an attentive listening ear to everyone complaint’s, questions, opinions, and suggestions. Ginny’s supportive attitude allows everyone working in the Recovery room to feel treated with dignity and respect. She always finds time to speak with all of the nurses, patients, and doctors. Ginny consistently answers phone calls in a timely, polite and courteous manner. She is approachable and available to help with little chores or big projects.
