Kathy was the day nurse for our father in the CVICU unit. Dad was recovering from a quadruple bypass surgery. Kathy immediately became familiar with my dad's medical history, attended all of his needs, explained all his procedures with family, discussed next steps, coordinated with all staff members, and engaged with family members during all visits. Her kind, heartfelt concern toward my dad and family was key to our comfort level. She has excellent family care qualities and is the best nurse ever.
