Nick has a wonderful, caring demeanor. He is always available to assist staff and patients even though he is extremely busy. Nick didn't hesitate to volunteer to help UWMC Montlake during the COVID-19 surge planning. He went immediately without any idea of what he would be doing. He is a true team player and always willing to help out when he can. He is a compassionate RN and a stellar role model for UWMC.

Nick is a very compassionate nurse. He greets the team and patients with a smile daily. During COVID-19, he volunteered to help at the main hospital where his nursing skills were put to the test. He was immediately put on the floor with a panel of ill patients. He did what a nurse should do and gave the best patient care of his ability. I believe he goes above and beyond as a nurse and deserves this award. He has shown exemplary care during emergent situations and in doing so, has never wavered in his patient care. The patients absolutely love him, and so does his team.
