My 87 year old sister spent approximately three and and half days in ACCU, Friday evening through Monday. Two of the days the RN was Sabrida Nichols. I knew shortly after observing Nurse Nichols attended my sister that she was exceptional. She was professional, knowledgeable, thorough, compassionate, trustworthy, enthusiastic, committed and at the top of my list conscientious of cleanliness. I was impressed.
Because my sister did not have a Cardiologist she was assigned one. A procedure was ordered by another physician (not the Cardiologist) that Nurse Nichols seemed concerned about, she immediately called the Cardiologist and he said he was not aware this test had been ordered. Because he was doing a heart cath the next morning the test was not necessary. I was very grateful that Nurse Nichols was on duty that day and grateful for her knowledge of my sister's case.
