Joanna Nelson is an exceptional nurse. She goes above and beyond on a daily basis. She strives for the best quality care for her patients everyday that she is here and is an absolute joy to work with.
Joanna has an extraordinary way of connecting with patients and their families. She has a calm, peaceful presence and this is noticed and appreciated by all of those around her. She is respectful and thoughtful of the care she provides and treats each family according to their individual needs.
As a co-worker, Joanna is exceptional as well. She is always ready to lend a hand, advice or whatever is needed and she does so with a smile on her face. She is professional, dedicated and fun to work with. She has been very involved in councils, the New Grad program, and many other programs on the unit. I believe that all of this involvement is to better our patient care and make our unity the best place to work.
