“Tayler cared for my husband, Larry Swartzbaugh, after his quintuple bypass surgery on November 9, 2009. When one of the grafts failed to hold and he bled out, Tayler assisted the entire team in administering CPR for 25-40 minutes until he could be returned to surgery. After that, she sought me out, found a room for me, and stayed with me. Her presence greatly helped to comfort me and get me through that traumatic time. Larry and I are very grateful for her skill in saving his life and caring for both of us during that time. When she returned for her next shift a few days later, she took the time to visit us in another unit after her shift to see how Larry was doing. We both would like to thank Tayler for helping to bring about a miracle.”
