My husband came in for emergency heart surgery and ended up with a triple bypass and aortic reduction performed by Dr. C. I don't know if I would have made it without the help of Chris Fitzpatrick. She went above and beyond taking care of my husband. Her compassion was appreciated. She took such great care of him. She made him feel comfortable and safe which made me, his wife, feel comfortable and safe.
As a healthcare worker I know how our jobs get busy but she never once made either of us feel rushed and treated us with respect and dignity way above and beyond her job duty. I could leave him and know that he was in perfectly good hands with her. This is my most precious loved one. She is a phenomenal nurse and even a better person. She did not treat him like just a patient, she treated him like family. How do you thank a person for something like that? By the time she's aware of this, she may not even remember my husband and that is okay because I have a feeling she treats all her patients this way. What more could you ask for and a nurse?
