Tammy is an Extraordinary Nurse. She goes above and beyond to care for her patients. Every time I work with Tammy and she has patients, she is always busy buzzing around making sure her patients don't need a thing, don't have to ask for a thing, and are well taken care of. She pays attention to details, some details that the rest of us will miss. An example of Tammy's excellent care is when I worked with her one night and she was caring for a patient she was so very busy. The next night Tammy was not back and the patient she was so busy with asked if she was working so she could have her back as a nurse. We told her Tammy was off for the night. This patient raved about Tammy. She could not stop saying such amazing things about how Tammy took such good care of her. She kept saying how good Tammy was.
Later, I relayed this to Tammy and told her how much her patient enjoyed her as a nurse. Tammy cried because she honestly does not see that she does a wonderful job. She does not realize what a great nurse she is. We all know how great she is and we want her to know it too!
