Nurse Wendi is the epitome of grace! She made what was otherwise an unpleasant situation, having to stay at the hospital with my daughter, much more bearable. Wendi showed my daughter and me compassion, tenderness, and kindness. She was understanding, and she treated my daughter as if she was her own child. She treated my daughter with great compassion, dignity, and excellent care. Her kindness was second to none.
When I expressed the worst day of my daughter's hospital stay, it was nurse Wendi who encouraged me that everything was going to be okay. Words cannot express how great of a Wendi is. On the day where my daughter had continuous pain for more than 16 hours, Wendi came in the room to see how I was feeling; she asked if there was anything that she could do to help me. She saw me crying and she did everything she could to comfort me. Wendi demonstrated that Nursing is so much more than a job, but it's a calling. It is obvious that Wendi enjoys helping others. I can see that she loves being a nurse!
