Pam is a true advocate for our little patients and their families. She goes out of her way to teach parents total care of their babies.
Recently we had a baby discharged from our unit. This child was being transferred to another facility for vent-weaning. Pam was able to teach the child's parents G-Tube care, dressing changes, and trach care so they would feel comfortable with their transition out of the acute care setting.
Pam is a very effective team member and is well respected by her peers in the unit.
