From my first day working as a tech here, Kimberly welcomed me with lots of encouragement and open arms. When I first started, I was living in a very unsafe situation and was trying to get out. Kimberly made sure that Bryan was a safe place for me and helped me try to find a solution for my situation. I think it says great things about the kind of person she is because she cares about our unit's personal lives as well as work lives. She did some extra research and took time out of her busy days to get me out of my situation.
Kimberly has been very receptive to my ideas to better our unit and is constantly trying to make her team, our patients and everyone's life safer, smarter, and easier. She has always had an open ear to my concerns and has handled them with patience and dedication. She goes above and beyond for our patients too. I've overheard her conversations with patients and she gives them her full attention and makes sure their needs are being met and then some. Kimberly represents Bryan with the utmost pride and integrity. She is absolutely a DAISY Nurse Leader.

Kimberly has been an exemplary leader. She is always willing to step out on the floor with us and help with medications, call lights, and patient care. When we are busy or working short, I don't ever feel like she would ask me to do something she isn't willing to do herself. She has also been incredibly supportive of me pursuing my degree. She is willing to listen to my goals and provide whatever support is needed to achieve those goals. I see the way she leads our unit, it inspires me to be a better leader because she leads by example.
