We delivered our daughter at MCR and would like to recognize Janielle for being an outstanding nurse. She was assigned to me during my recovery, but as luck would have it, she also served in the nursery. The day our daughter was born, we were struggling through a tough night; she would not sleep or stop crying - normal baby stuff, we thought. Janielle graciously offered to take her for a stroll around the unit so we could get some rest; we gratefully accepted. The next morning, when I picked up our daughter to feed her she had stopped breathing. My husband opened the door to let the nurses know. Janielle quickly took our daughter to the nursery and with a team of other wonderful nurses, got her breathing again and stable. When I say Janielle saved our daughter's life, it's not an exaggeration! I would love for Janielle to know how grateful we are for her compassion, expertise, quick thinking, humor, and prayers.
