Christina gets WOW cards regularly from patients and Press Ganey survey comments frequently. The common theme is her joyful attentive care constantly accompanied by her beautiful smile and twinkling eyes. Also referenced is her energetic, enthusiastic work style. She is very organized and efficient which allows her to take the time to sit with her patients to reassure them or teach them or check infrequently. She includes siblings in her teaching and lets them listen with her stethoscope. She checks on her babies that go to the NICU (off unit) and updates her patients about their babies “and how cute they are” reassuring them and helping with feelings of separation. She goes out of her way to meet cultural needs of patients. We are very fortunate to have her in Perinatal.
