Julie Maier, 7700
o Takes time to help with the small things
o Explains things to me
o Works well with other nurses and techs and doctors
o Is kind and caring
o Smiles and in a good mood—always
--Lois Sheridan, patient at Surrey Place
We had the unusual experience of having both parents, Bob and Lois Sheridan in St. Luke’s during the holidays and beyond. We had the opportunity to see the excellent staff and specialists over a three-week period. Julie exhibits the attributes that St. Luke’s should be proud of! They include: 1) energy 2) professionalism 3) good bedside manner 4) cheerfulness 5) patient concern 6) hustle 7) sincerity 8) compassion and 9) enthusiasm for her profession. She even called us to seek our dogs’ names so she knew them when Lois asked about them (exceptional)! Additionally, she has good leadership and communication skills with doctors and support staff (a sense of priority). –Bruce A Frost (son-in-law) 1.13.10
