Being able to receive a TAVR (transcatheter aortic valve replacement) is a gift, especially since you can avoid open-heart surgery for aortic valve replacement. However, the preparation, procedure and follow-up process for TAVR is a whirlwind; exhausting and scary with many, many steps to healing.
We believe Lisa is the Best Guide for the entire process. Her positive attitude and confidence in the TAVR program with her expert clinical care and patient focus make the journey less scary.
From admission assessments, testing, scheduling, patient education, as well as her care and presence on the big day of the TAVR procedure and during follow up give patients courage. We are so well prepared and watched over! We know too that Lisa collaborates with the team of physicians, nurses, and anesthesia in the coordination of services so that the path to healing is smooth and not so scary.
