Alvin is such an amazing, compassionate nurse to his patients and co-workers. He rounds on all floors and will ask each nurse if they have any concerns regarding patients or need any assistance with them. I had trouble obtaining IV access on a patient that needed three different IV ABX for an infection.
Alvin was able to get access in her leg after multiple attempts by me and other RN's. He is always so positive and calm, no matter what the situation. Whether it's an IV start or a patient deteriorating and him helping out the nurses with that patient. He is such an important part of the team on the weekends; I wish we had him on the weekdays!
