My husband suffered from a stroke.He is 31 years old and we have 3 small children.I was away at a conference when I received the call to hurry to Omaha.I cannot begin to tell you how frightened I was and how terrible it was to believe there was a chance I would never get to see him again.As I arrived to the floor, so unsure of what was going on, I was greeted by Laura.She took the time to help me remain calm by explaining in detail what was going on, what was about to happen, and what to expect.She made sure I was comfortable and that my entire family and I were taken care of.
It meant so much to us that she allowed me and the rest of my family into his room to see him when they arrived.My family is very close and I believe it was healing to all of us just to be able to be all together.Laura helped us reserve a room for my family to get some rest, but allowed for me and our 6-month-old baby to stay with my husband. She truly demonstrated the understanding of how I needed to remain close.
My husband receivedgreatcare throughout his stay, but I can honestly say Laura provided and demonstratedexcellence.She really made our entire experience wonderful right from the beginning, and we could not be more grateful to her.
