Alvin Javier is a very likeable and enjoyable person; I was scared to death yesterday when they told me my gall bladder had to come out. I cried and prayed a lot. He gave me time to calm down, came in and explained the procedure. My blood pressure came down. Now in my books that's going beyond your nursing skills and comes from his heart. Alvin Javier was my RN for the 1st couple of days I was here. He was able to help me remain calm, helped me retain my dignity and was very respectable of my feelings. He was clearly a professional and excellent at preforming his job duties. His quick wit helped calm my frayed nerves. Alvin put me at ease with his big smile and dignified treatment. There are many who could benefit from his respectful way he dealt with each task he had to perform on me. I dreaded and postponed coming to the hospital. Had I known I'd be treated so respectfully and with such professionalism I'd have come sooner.
