When I first came to the 9th floor I had a roommate that was mad and scared and used to wake me up all through the night, saying "I have to pee or poo and they haven't fed me in 5 months". He was a basket case. Glenda changed everything for him. Glenda worked with him and cleaned him up. She gave him the care and love that he needed. She showed him that he was somebody. Now he is 100% better. He's changed. He's clean and he talks a little bit. He comes to a group. Glenda brings him to the meeting and helps him. She pats his arm and rubs his hand to help him be calm. He smiles now and he didn't before.
Glenda is most compassionate person I have ever met. She loves her job and she takes care of the Vets. She is like Mother Theresa. She values every person's dignity. She goes above and beyond her required duties.
