Sue Thomas is a kind, loving, and patient nurse. Since I arrived in the OR, Sue has been awesome to me. She is my guiding light. Not only is she wonderful to me, but to all staff, new and old. She has a lot of patience, thank goodness. Sue is caring and respectful to all our patients, ensuring they are comfortable and safe. She always has a smile on her face and also has time to speak to anyone who needs advice or clarification (new equipment, etc.)
Sue is a wonderful role model to follow. I recently had my first on-call by myself and was a little anxious. Sue told me not to hesitate to call her, no matter what time; and also, she would come right in if I needed her. Well, of course, I needed to call her. Actually, multiple times about a large vascular case that was going on and she was great and provided me with the answers I needed - no complaining!
When I become experienced I want to be just like her.
