Jean Otto ~ Jean is an amazing nurse, I have worked with her for years and she is always up for any challenge. I have never heard her complain and she just does her work. I LOVE working with Jean, she should get the DAISY award!!! She maintains a calm, caring demeanor all the time. I've never seen her get "ruffled." She does her work well and I don't think I've ever heard her complain about her assignment. She treats her patients with kindness and dignity and treats her co-workers equally well. I think she's well deserving of the award. Jean is a nurse who has amazing compassion for her patients. In addition she has excellent clinical knowledge; she is a natural teacher and is consistently available to help her co-workers without ever complaining. Jean's positive presence and spirit is contagious. Her passion for what she does everyday as a nurse is just present and effortless. She does it with that smile and little laugh that makes you want to smile and giggle back at her. The nursing profession and the patients are so lucky to have Jean Otto!
