Kaitlee Williams interacted with my mom like they were old friends or family. She is a very caring person and always has a smile for Mom. Kaitlee explained to my mom her condition so that she understood. She also listened to my mom's concerns, which was very important to us. I stayed with Mom and acted like I wasn't listening to their conversation. Kaitlee put my mom at ease.
Mom is a hugger and loves to hug. Kaitlee was not put off at all and gave her hugs back, warm and compassionate hugs. Big plus, not once did I feel that Mom wasn't in great hands with Kaitlee. When we came back to the hospital for the second time, we specifically asked if Kaitlee could be her nurse. We are not saying the other nurses weren't good; Kaitlee just went above and beyond. She is such a kind, caring, loving person. We were blessed to have her a mom's nurse. She is an example that all nurses could look up to.
