Rodney always talks to my husband, J, with the utmost respect. He has a certain talent to help calm my husband and takes the time to explain things to him. Rodney's patience with J and also with me is absolutely above the commitment of his job description. J did not want to go to occupational therapy and physical therapy because I was leaving and Rodney took it upon himself to assure J he would not get lost down there and he would see him as he went down the elevator and again when he returned to the floor. My own concerns sometime escalate and when Rodney is on duty, he always knows how to assure me all will be OK.
Rodney's administration of my husband's medicine is excellent. He takes that extra care since my husband has a swallowing problem. Rodney never shows impatience of any kind. Anything we ask of him is never a bother. We are lucky to have him as part as my husband's care team.
