Brandi was the RN caring for my husband while he was in the clinical decision unit. She was very attentive and caring and really helped us feel at ease in the midst of my husband being treated for a pancreatitis attack. On Thursday we thought he would be coming back to the condo with me. He had been up twice to walk. When he came back to the room and climbed into bed, Brandi noticed a change right away. His breathing was shallower and he was breathless. He did not even realize his breathing had changed. Brandi listened to his heart and then immediately hooked him up to the EKG machine and ran the test. She sent the report upstairs to Dr. A. My husband was in a-fib and instead of going to the condo he was staying in the hospital.
This was new territory for us as he had never been diagnosed with a-fib or heart problems. It was a scary time for me, not knowing what all this would mean; until Dr. A came to talk with us about this new problem. Brandi was very compassionate and caring and certainly a very good RN. We were both very thankful that she had been our nurse in that unit. She was very informative, very respectful. We feel she is a part of our family. We were very impressed with Cox Medical Center in Branson and have been telling everyone what an exceptional hospital you have there.
We thank the Lord that He took us to Branson so that when my husband had the pancreatic attack (really out of the blue) I took him to Cox Medical Center where we received the best care we have ever seen or received in a hospital. Thank you and bless you.
