What fun to have Justine, aka Princess Belle, as J's nurse for a couple of days in the PICU. The days were busy with J's needs as well as Justine's other patients' needs. In fact, J needed a new IV and Justine worked together with her PICU nurse colleagues to get a challenging stick for J. Justine was on top of J's schedule and needs, thinking ahead of time to be prepared for the routine, and unexpected needs. Her caring nature for J, always addressing him, and always making him feel like a rock star! PICU is so lucky to have Justine on their team! She exemplifies all that nursing and Pediatrics is about.
