Andrew is a brilliantly talented registered nurse on the 3200 Cardiac Surgical Intermediate Unit. His nomination was written by a patient's family who shared how Andrew went over and above to care for their elderly, confused, and at times combative father. Andrew was reassuring to the patient and family and showed enormous patience, compassion, and kindness to his patient. He showed the Mercy values of dignity, respect, and bias for action to the patient and family. We are beyond blessed to have Andrew as one of our Mercy nurses here in Fort Smith.
