Jessica is an amazing individual. She quietly goes about her work and delivers care. I had a young lady and her husband come in very anxiously. The lady was 10 weeks pregnant and bleeding, and her O.B. doctor had told her to come here. She had so many questions and I knew so little about post-miscarry time. I asked Jessica to take this patient because she had an OB background and her gentle demeanor would help the patient. She entered the room and took over. Her calm approach and attitude helped this couple through a very difficult night. They were grateful for her help, honesty, and direction. Although they were losing a baby, they knew that there was promise in the future. She helped them realize that they did not do anything wrong and that the emotions they had were okay to feel and express. Jessica helped them move on to the next step and cope with the situation. The couple was very appreciative and pleased with the care.
