Marcella is one of the most seasoned and amazing nurses in our unit. I was working as charge nurse during the night shift and my dad was scheduled to have a cardiac angiogram the next morning. I had mentioned the details about my dad's procedure to some nurses but never asked anyone to come early.
At 5 am, Marcella showed up to work early without me even asking her to do so, knowing how stressed I was, so that I could go home early. This was such a kind gesture on her part. It made me love my job twice as much, as I am so blessed to work with caring and compassionate nurses like Marcella who go above and beyond to back their fellow nurses up when needed. Words cannot explain how grateful I am to Marcella! Thank you.
