Kelly took care of a patient who was here for two weeks. The patient had poor intake due to poor appetite, and she was actually hungry for stromboli. Kelly called in an order for her and even paid for it! The next day, Kelly made arrangements with the doctor to have the patient approved to be off her monitor in order to take the patient outside to get some fresh air and sunshine for a short time period. Kelly stayed with her at that time and talked with her. I cared for the patient the next night. She was upbeat and said it never felt so good to be out of bed! She was very grateful.
