"When Melody greeted me for my appointment it was with a smile and a calm voice. This made me feel relaxed and welcomed prior to my exam. She continually made eye contact with me and made me feel as she was genuinely concerned with my health and wellbeing. If every nurse I came across was as pleasant and professional as Melody, I would certainly be more comfortable coming to see the doctor. Her positive spirit is truly something that benefits our VA health system."
The Patient went on to state that the care and attention he received on that day was the best care he had ever received. He added that Ms. Morris as a kind and caring nurse that was deserving of the DAISY Award and was honored to be able to have a part in her being able to be recognized.
