While I was in the hospitalfor a kidney stone operation, I had a toxic reaction to the stent they put in me and though I was in tremendous pain, I had a wonderful nurse. Lauren went above and beyond her duties to take care of me. She was not only kind and compassionate, but she made sure to check in on me every hour when I was in so much pain. She kept on top of it when I needed more pain meds to keep me comfortable.My husband spent the night at the hospital with me and that evening, and he stayed awake with me since I was in so much pain. Lauren took care of his needs as well even though I know that she had lots of other things to do. I can only say that we were truly blessed to have her on duty that night and that Wesley hospital is a much better place for having her on their staff! That is the first time I've been in the hospital and I truly thank God that both of us were blessed to have had such a wonderful nurse taking care of the two of us!
