Weston went truly above and beyond for a family that was not one of his patients. When he was leavingone morningafter working a night shift, he noticed a sad distraught man outside of the unit. Something urged him to approach the individual. He learned the man's wife was critically ill and now approaching end of life. Weston stayed with the gentleman for several hours on his own time to comfort him until family arrived. He learned the wife was a former Miss Nevada and they had been together the past 30 years. The man kept in touch with Weston and asked if Weston could accompany him to the funeral home when making the funeral arrangements. With absolutely no sleep, Weston joined the gentleman to the funeral home wherehe then proceeded to make the arrangements after the gentleman completely broke down with the loss of his wife. Weston spoke at the proceedings, organized and ran the entire service. This was all done after having no sleep working the night shift, having 5 very active children at home, and a side business. We are completely humbled to be working alongside such an amazing nurse and individual. Thank you, Weston!
