My 89-year-old mother was a patient in the Inpatient Rehab Unit recovering from a broken hip when her health began to deteriorate. Her BP and blood counts were low and Klaudia quickly realized that my mother needed emergency care. She immediately arranged for her transfer to the hospital's critical care unit and went with her to the critical care. My mother had developed a hematoma in her hip and sepsis and needed blood transfusions and antibiotics.
