Kevin is an extraordinary nurse and a really good person. My baby is 2 years old, diagnosed with cancer 8 weeks ago. She was hospitalized for 6 weeks for treatment on the pediatric department before getting to go home. Two whole days passed before the doctor called saying we needed to come back for more treatment. That day fell on my daughter's birthday and we were all very sad that we had to come back to the hospital. Her nurse, Kevin, had come in on his day off to decorate her room with Frozen characters and had a small gift just for her. When we arrived, my daughter was so surprised and happy and so was I. Kevin deserves this award for all he did for my daughter for her birthday, making it so unforgettable and special.
