Teresa has qualities that make her a great nurse, an incredible person, an awesome peer, and a wonderful advocate for CHI Health. Teresa is caring, kind, generous, helpful to staff, peers, visitors, physicians, and anyone she is in contact with.
Teresa has excellent nursing skills that she shares with us each and every day. She is our Stroke Coordinator at Mercy. She has shown leadership skills for this program and to support our campus. Teresa does a great job assuring each and every stroke patient gets the best care possible on our watch. She truly cares about patients. She identifies things we can improve upon, and she helps to put processes in place that will improve the program. Teresa has coached and mentored the ED staff to be prepared to transfer stroke patients for Interventional Radiology procedures at the Immanuel campus. She coaches with patience, and always is thinking about what is best for our patients.
Teresa attends meetings across the state and city, to make sure we continue to provide the best evidence based stroke care for our patients. You will frequently hear Teresa talking about what can be done to improve care for our patients.
Teresa is always willing to take on new projects. I appreciate her willingness to learn. I can always depend on Teresa for excellent timely work done.
Teresa is an expert on our quality measures at Mercy. Teresa is always available to staff if they have questions on any core measures. Teresa has assisted with the mentoring and training of our Sepsis Navigator. She supports the staff as well as physicians. She is knowledgeable and expert in her field.
Teresa is on the Mercy Employee Experience Team, because she wants to make a difference.
Teresa displays commitment like behavior each and every day at work. She shows compassion to her peers and is sympathetic to those in need. Teresa is known in the department and across the hospital for her "prayer box" and when she hears of someone in need, she writes their name on a paper and puts it in the box.
Teresa is kind, caring, and a supportive peer.
