My husband was in ICU for a few nights in early February. One night he had the very best nurse, Relly who was exceptional. He was extremely knowledgeable, efficient, caring and responsive. We were particularly impressed that when the Resident Doctor doubled the dose of my husband's medication, Relly checked with the Doctor to make sure that was correct, and the doctor decided to keep the lower dose. That was being very responsible and we were extremely thankful to Relly for his caring and putting the patient first.
We highly commend UCI for the excellence of the doctors and nurses we encountered during my husband's almost 3 weeks' stay, but it is nurses like Relly who contribute to the outstanding reputation of UCI. Thank you Relly!
