Holly works in our emergency department where she has seen the need for winter jackets for our trauma patients who have them cut off and then have nothing warm to go home in, our homeless patients, and those facing dire social and financial situations who just can't afford warm clothes. Holly took it upon herself to organize and hold a coat drive. Boxes were placed throughout the campus and Holly collected the coats from these locations at least weekly. Holly's initiative brought in 437 coats, 268 sweatshirts, and numerous other items. Due to the generosity, Holly has been able to also reach out and provide donations on behalf of our organization to other service groups in the community. Her recognition of a chronic problem we face to help support our patients, her servant heart and her amazing energy brought this all together. She has definitely gone above and beyond the call while representing Meritus Health extraordinarily well in our community.
