My husband was admitted to Southview Hospital for chronic pancreatitis and extremely high blood sugar. He was feeling pretty bad until a specific nurse, Kaitlin, became his nurse. Kaitlin was prompt, knowledgeable, explained in detail all of what was going on, compassionate, caring, cheerful, and happy and always had a smile that would light up the room. Kaitlin came in almost every hour to check on us.

She was absolutely hands down the best nurse we have ever had. My husband had been admitted 16 times and to say we have had a lot of nurses is an understatement. Kaitlin was the most wonderful Nurse we have ever had. She made a huge difference in our care and our lives. She is the true meaning of the word "nurse" and what that stands for. I can say she made such an impact on us. From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank Kaitlin for all she did for us. She not only cares for the patient but for the well-being of the patient's family too.
